This title is one in a series presenting four masterpieces by four immortal French impressionist painters. Each miniature book faithfully reproduces its title painting on the front cover, and is packaged in a handsome slipcase that doubles as a picture frame. Lawrence paints a complex portrait of the desert-loving Englishman who united Arab tribes in a battle against the Ottoman Turks during World War I.
